Is It Me?

Is it me? Really? Is there something wrong with me to make people forget to show up to things? I was supposed to have this group thing with Liz, Rachel and Keith today at 5:30 in the library. We were supposed to watch Soap (my favorite TV show) for our gender class so we can do a presentation on it and Will and Grace...but no one fucking showed up! Just like those damn workshops, I was the only one there. Now I knew Liz wouldn't be there, but I thought for sure at least Rachel would show up. Keith was iffy. He's not to crazy on doing a project on homosexuals. It's kinda funny. So anyway, I waited around until about 5:45 and then I called Rachel and her roommate answered and told me she was asleep and wanted to know if she should wake her up. I said, Yeah, please do. So Rachel gets on the phone and is like, "Oh my God! I totally forgot! I'm so sorry!" So we're going to have to reschedule it.
So then I went to the bus stop where I waited for the bus for like 15 minutes. And apparently there's a football game going on tonight so traffic was terrible and it took another 20 minutes to get to my car and another 10 to get to the highway.
Boy, what a frustrating night! Well, it's almost over anyway...

The Big Event

Well today was GCPs big event at the Red Barn. It went off pretty good. We should have ordered more pizza though. The ratio of pizza to drinks available was a bit odd....We had like 80 things of Big K soda...All different kinds too. We ran out of pizza in like 15 minutes. It was really kinda funny.
I got published in the issue! Yeah for me :O) It's the same story I had submitted last semester, but didn't get in. It's called The Old Man and it's one of my favorites.
Colin didn't show up like he said he might. But that's okay, I'll see him on Friday in class. I was going to see if he wanted to maybe hang out this weekend or something, but now I don't know if I'll ask him or not...I probably should huh?
But I did get to see Ben, no not GCP Ben but "The gay guy on the bus that's not gay" Ben. It's a bit of a long story as to how he got that name, and the funny thing is he doesn't even know that that's what I call him. Anyway, I tried to talk to him but the band was playing and we couldn't hear each other.
I got up at 7:00 again today just to see Elton on TV. But it was really cool. Elton was showing off his Atlanta house, and he showed this picture of David when he was like 7. It was so cute.
Oh, that reminds me...I got the album yesterday...Peachtree Road. It's awesome. I really like "Turn the Light Out When You Leave", "My Elusive Drug", "All That I'm Allowed" and some others...They're all good though. I've been listening to it non stop.
I haven't gotten the DVD yet...I don't have the money for it :O( It's like a 4 disk DVD set! I can't wait to get it!

The Elton picture of the day!

News?

Sorry I'm not posting as frequently as I used to. I've been super busy. But, there are major things to tell today so I figured I'd get on and post them.
First, the not so major news (although it is major to me!) Elton's new album comes out tomorrow!!! I'm so going to go and get it before school tomorrow too. That way I can listen to it on my way to school. I cannot wait. It's killing me.
Now, the other news. We didn't have American Lit. Today 'cause Anderson is apparently sick. So I waited around for Colin to show up and we went and had lunch. Well, I had lunch, he just sat and watched me eat. But we talked and stuff and had a good time and what not. He said he's going to try and make it to the Creative Arts Festival on Wednesday, if only for 5 minutes, but still.
So yeah, that was my news. Not too exciting I guess.
Well, I really need to go work on this paper that's due on Wednesday. So, hopefully I'll be back later with the Elton picture of the day :O)
