Halloween Eve

I am so, so sorry for not posting in such a long time. Okay, it's only been a few days...But it feels like a long time. I can't remember if I told you, I got my new computer, and since then I've been busy playing The Sims and downloading crap for the game. All my free time.......Besides that I've been working like a bitch 'cause I was "sick" that last week and my pay checks were in the 20s. And on top of that I have like 2 papers to write, a group project and a test to study for. Phew! So, for the next few weeks updates might not be as frequent.
So let me tell you about today. First of all, today at work was trick or treating day for the kids...So we were supposed to dress up if we wanted to. Now, I didn't have a costume, so this morning I got up at 8:00 to go out and look for a cheap, last minute costume. Little did I know most stores don't open until 10 on the weekends. Target was the exception...They opened at 8. Anyway, by the time I compiled my costume (a dog) and got back home I had a half an hour before I had to get ready to go to work. So I took a nap.
So, at work pretty much everyone was dressed up so it was cool. Andrew had this big inflatable sumo wrestler costume on. It was pretty funny. But no one knew what I was. I was called a rat, a pig, a cat, a mouse, a wolf...Someone asked me if I had meowed much today, I said, "no but I've barked a lot." This other lady told me I looked horrible. Then I scared a little old lady when I turned around, and some kids were so freaked out they wouldn't take their eyes off of me until I gave them some candy.
So that was my day...I just got home. 6 hours. And now I must work on my paper.

What A Day

First, another shout out to Kim who added the counter to my blog. Thanks again Kim!!
Well, I got my computer yesterday :O) And I actually set it up all by my self!! I actually did it! Everything works but the speakers, and I'm not sure why they don't, so when Kim comes into town next time she told me she'd help me figure it out. But the computer is really awesome. I loaded all my Sims games onto it and it's awesome! Can I say that again? It's fucking awesome.
But what a day I'm having. First I woke up an hour late 'cause I forgot to set my alarm. Then I go outside and apparently someone dumped a garbage bag full of yard waste on my car...Not really, but that's what it looked like. And keep in mind I have a white car, so I was not pleased. Then I got a crap ass parking spot. Then the bus left as I was walking towards it...I mean I was so freaking close...They normally wait, but not today. Then there was a train, so I had to wait for the train to go by before the next bus would come. When the bus finally arrived it kept sputtering we drove like it was going to break down every 5 seconds. I finally made it to class when I realized I didn't have a pen (I wound up borrowing one from some girl in class...). Then on to lunch where my chicken nuggets were over cooked and my fries had absolutely NO salt on them.
Blah!!
And it's only noon.
Well I've got mucho things to get done, so I'll be back later to tell you how my study session with Colin goes :O)

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Boy have I busy today!! Boy have I been busy this week! I'm going to be busy the next two weeks actually. Tomorrow I have my GCP meeting, but before that I've got class, obviously, and in my American Diversity class I'm getting my take home test. Then I'm going straight from there to meet up with Colin to work on our take home test for American lit. Then I've got to sit around for a while until GCP.
Then I've got a group presentation due in a couple weeks that I've got to get some stuff together for Thursday. It's for my gender and public dialog class, and we're doing a paper on how the entertainment media portrays homosexuals. Right up my ally huh? Anyway, so I've got to get all my DVDs with gay characters together (which is like, all of my DVDs) and bring them to class on Thursday. Then next Wednesday the group's getting together for a movie day to watch everything.
Then, this weekend I'm working Friday, Saturday and Sunday to make up for the two days I didn't work last week. Phew. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
Well, as you can tell, I've got a bit to do...So maybe I'll post more later.

I Finally Did It!

So, here is a random thought: if there is separation between church and state why is it that the place where I vote is at a church?

Anyway, I finally did it. I got Colin's phone number. We're going to try and get together on Wednesday to go over notes for our take home test. Fun fun. I may have to skip class to meet with him, but it'll be the class I've only skipped twice, so I still have a free one.
I just saw the guy next to me stick chewing tobacco in his mouth. Yuck.
Anyway...I really don't know what else to say. After class today I'm going to go see an advisor and then hopefully I'll be able to register for classes. I want to take a creative writing class and I was thinking of taking Hebrew, but I looked on the class list for who the teacher is, and it's the same lady that taught my religion class last semester, and I don't think she liked me very much. But it'll be a new semester and a totally different sort of class, and I need a foreign language, so...Maybe I'll go for it.
I also want to take the class on the Holocaust, but I think it's only open to graduate students. :OP
I have written in my planner that I have a take home test due in my American Diversity class today...But I don't remember if she gave us the test yet or not. I think I kinda do...But I can't remember. So I hope I'm not screwed. I'll find out later I guess. Cross your fingers for me.
I am so unorganized this semester. I don't know how it happened. Oh well, halfway done. Next semester will be different, hopefully.

Dude! I'm Getting A Dell!

So, I don't really have the time right now, nor do I feel like posting a whole lot. So this will be short. I'll post more tomorrow in between classes.
basically all I wanted to say right now was that I'm getting a new computer in a couple days :O) So I'm happy. It's a Dell and it's awesome. I'm excited. It's my Hanukah present.
Okay, yeah. That's it. I told you, I don't feel like typing right now.
